Monetary Donation

Kody’s Kids, Inc. welcomes the philanthropic support of corporations, organizations, foundations, and individuals.

Here are some examples of how your donation can help:

$500.00 will supply 5 newborns with much needed supplies.

$150.00 will buy 20 packs of diapers.

$100.00 will buy 40 packs of baby wipes.

$75.00 will buy 15 packs of receiving blankets.

$ 50.00 will buy 10 packs of Onesies.

$25.00 will buy 10 tubes of Diaper Rash Cream.

Event Coordinator. Person with good communicating and organizational skills to to seek out and coordinate fundraising opportunities for the charity. Schedule would be flexible. 20% commission on net proceeds.

Teachers for our Early Learning Program. Retired or non-working teachers or those with Early Learning experience to work with our program at preschools, libraries and other learning institutions twice a month. Schedule would be flexible, about 2 or 3 days a month during the school year.

Board Of Directors Member. Seeking additional Board Member. Board meetings are held in Georgetown, DE

Kids Closet Volunteer. Volunteers needed for the Kids Closet, Georgetown location. The hours are flexible. Average 4 or 5 days a month. Volunteers will assist in inventory control, counting and straightening up.

Grants Writers.  Seek out and file grants for Kody’s Kids. Good writing skills required.

Nutritionist. Volunteer to advise Early Learning Program and create healthy recipes for children on a bi-weekly or monthly basis for websites.

Theme parties are a fun way to help The Baby Closet Program continue their mission of helping newborns who suffer from homelessness, extreme poverty, or disease by providing them with the fundamental items essential for a bright start in this world.

Select a theme like baby shower, birthday party, anniversary party, or “in honor of” party; We will supply a Wish List for you to include with the invitations; and then gather your friends, relatives, and co-workers and have a great time.

Each guest brings something on the list, wrapped or not depending on the host’s request, and guests can open or reveal their “gifts” for everyone to appreciate. After the party, we will pick up the donated items, which are the core of creating our Care Bags.

Adopt-a-Bear Program

The teddy bear is a universal symbol of warmth and security. Kody’s Kids, Inc. includes a teddy bear in each of our Care Bags – a gift bag filled with baby items and donated to in-need newborns.

We are giving the community an opportunity to share in bringing joy to newborns and their families through our Adopt A Bear Program. For just $20.00, a teddy bear will be placed in a Care Bag in your honor (or someone of your choosing). Each bear can be personalized with a donor’s name, be it a person (or persons), or a business or organization. This lets the families know how the community supports them.

A note may be added for the newborn, or you can honor someone’s special day, such as a birthday, anniversary, birth of a child, or any other special occasion. One or more bears can be adopted at a time, or adopting can be set up to occur on a monthly basis.

Your adoption of a bear is a tax-deductible contribution (as outlined by the IRS), and it helps us to fulfill our mission to help newborns in need.
